Bank Connection Sync Start Date

By default, Finta uses the sync start date for a destination to determine how much transactions history should be synced. In some cases, you might want to set a sync start date specifically for a bank connection to limit how much of its data should be synced.

For example, let’s say you have a destination for your business finances with a sync start date of January 1, 2024. For most of your bank connections, it’s fine to sync transactions going back to January 1. However, for your business credit card, you only want to sync transactions starting May 1 since that’s when you started using it solely for business expenses and not personal. In this case, you would set the sync start date for your business bank connection to May 1.
